Jōju-in Temple, known as Tako Yakushi, is a historic Tendai temple worth visiting for its unique statues.
What it is
- A Tendai sect temple.
- Commonly known as "Tako Yakushi."
- Founded in 858 by Jikaku Daishi Ennin.
- Associated with early Tokugawa shoguns.

- A statue of Yakushi Nyorai carved by Ennin.
