Shinryū-ji Temple
真龍寺
Shinryu-ji Temple: a historic Jodo Shinshu temple with a gate from Edo Castle.
What it is
- A Jodo Shinshu Higashi Honganji-ha temple.
- One theory states Genkai, a disciple of Shinran, founded it.
- Another theory states Shoan, or Ando Takamitsu, founded it.
- Moved to its current location in 1699.
