What it is

  • A Jodo Shinshu Higashi Honganji-ha temple.
  • One theory states Genkai, a disciple of Shinran, founded it.
  • Another theory states Shoan, or Ando Takamitsu, founded it.
  • Moved to its current location in 1699.
