Jōken-ji Temple

Jōken-ji Temple is a historic Tokyo temple, rebuilt multiple times, preserving a significant Amida Nyorai statue.
What it is
- A Jōdo Shinshū Honganji-ha sect temple.
- Founded in 1602 by Shakkyōshin.
- Moved to its current location in 1928.
- Destroyed in 1923, damaged in 1945.
