Jōshō-ji Temple

Jōshō-ji Temple is a historic Rinzai Zen temple with important cultural properties.
What it is
- A Rinzai sect Myōshin-ji school temple.
- One of the three great temples of Kiso.
- Founded in 1387-1388 by Kiso Chikayutaka.
- Current buildings constructed in 1598.
