Katsushika Shrine is a historic local shrine in Funabashi City, worth visiting for its tranquil grounds.
What it is
- A shrine dedicated to Ninigi-no-Mikoto, Hikohohodemi-no-Mikoto, and Kumano Okami.
- Formed in 1916 by merging Kumano Shrine and Katsushika Jinja Motomiya.
- The Motomiya was revered as the general shrine of Katsushika-gun.
