Kattamine Shrine is a historic mountain shrine with two locations, offering unique seasonal deity movements.
What it is
- A shrine on Mount Kattadake in the Zao Mountain Range.
- Has an Okumiya at the peak and a Satomiya in Togatta Onsen.
- Deity moves between the peak in summer and Togatta Onsen in winter.
- Moved to Mount Kattadake around 1645-1648.
