Kōtoku-ji Temple
高徳寺
Kōtokuji is a historic Rinzai temple with significant Buddhist statues and cultural properties.
What it is
- A Rinzai sect Myōshin-ji school temple.
- Re-established in 1878 at the former site of Fumon'in.
- Its mountain name is Hōrinzan.

- The main image: Eleven-faced Kannon Bodhisattva.
- The Kawazu Yakushi, established in 1934.
