Mount Isanago

What it is

• The third highest mountain in the Tango region standing at 661 meters.
• One of Kyoto's Top 200 Nature Sites associated with the Hagoromo celestial maiden legend.
• A natural habitat containing all plant species recorded in the ancient Gishiwajinden texts.
• Also known by the alternative names Mount Hijiyama and Mount Manai.
