What it is
- A 2,207-meter mountain located on the border of Ueda and Suzaka in Nagano Prefecture
- Part of the Joshin'etsu-kogen National Park on the Azuma caldera rim
- Designated as one of the 100 Famous Flower Mountains
- Western slopes are utilized for local ski resorts and ranches

- Alpine displays of the Parnassia palustris flower across the slopes
- Panoramic views from the summit located northwest of Mount Azuma
- Open landscapes of the Sugadaira Highlands at the base of the mountain
Getting there
- The summit is accessible via a two-hour hike from the trailhead
- Access to the area is available via National Route 406
