Mount Shibire
シビレ山
A 465-meter peak in Kobe offering hiking trails through historic temple ruins and a surviving mountain shrine.
What it is
- A mountain standing 465 meters high at the western end of the Tanjo Mountains.
- Site of the former Myoyo-ji Temple founded in the sixth century by Donan Gyoja.
- Location of the historical Tanjo Mountain Castle ruins near the summit.
