Myōhō-ji Temple is a historic Nichiren temple known for its moss-covered steps and cultural properties.

- Nichiren Buddhist temple, also called Kokedera.
- Founded in 1253 on Matsubagayatsu hermitage site.
- Effective founder was Nichiei in 1357.
- Current main hall built by the Hosokawa family.
