Myokyo-ji Temple (Kyoto)

Myokyo-ji Temple is a historic Kyoto temple with unique monuments and traditional architecture.
What it is
- A temple of the Hokke sect Shinmon-ryu.
- Founded by Hosen-in Nikko and Hokke Matazaemon Sadakiyo.
- Land donated by Matsudaira Sadatsuna during the Kanei era.

- The main hall, built in 1840.
- A monument to soldiers killed in battle.
