Nakajima-so Shrine

Ancient Osaka shrine, rebuilt multiple times, offers a glimpse into local history near Shin-Osaka Station.
What it is
- Founded in 651 AD, originally named Inari Shrine.
- Renamed Nakajima-so Shrine in 1896.
- Designated a 'gosha' in 1872.
- Many smaller shrines merged into it from 1908 to 1909.
What to see
- Current main hall and worship hall, rebuilt in 1987.
- Old drawing and wooden plaque from 1335 survived fires.
