Nakanokamishima

What it is
- An uninhabited island located 16 kilometers southwest of Iriomote Island.
- A state-owned National Natural Monument within the Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park.
- A designated National Wildlife Protection Area for thousands of nesting seabirds.
- The only location in Japan where the plant Limonium wrightii grows naturally.
What to see

- The highest point of the island called Nakamori at 102 meters high.
