What it is
- A kofun group from the late Kofun period.
- Built from the late 6th to early 7th century.
- Excavated in 1962 by Doshisha University.
What to see
- Three kofun with horizontal stone chambers.
- Kofun 1 on the southwest side of a ridge.
- Kofun 2 and 3 are 70 meters northeast of Kofun 1.
- Stone chamber of Kofun 1 is 6.6 meters long.
- Stone chambers of Kofun 1 and 3 use tuff breccia.
- Artifacts include magatama, swords, and Sue ware.
