Onnin-ji Temple

Onnin-ji Temple is a historic Jodo Shinshu temple with unique demon-faced gargoyles.
What it is
- A Shinshu Otani-ha temple.
- Its mountain name is Ishikawa-san.
- Converted to Jodo Shinshu during the Kachō era (1235-1238).
- One of the "Hama no Sankaji" of Jodo Shinshu.
