Ooharaōmiya Shrine (Narashino)
大原大宮神社
Historic shrine in Narashino, known for ancient trees and a significant local festival.
What it is
- Founded in 1124 as Oohara Shrine.
- Enshrines Izanagi-no-Mikoto and Izanami-no-Mikoto.
- Sarutahiko-no-Mikoto was enshrined in 1752.
- Merged with Oomiya Shrine in 1908.

- A pair of Tabunoki trees on the grounds.
- An Akagashi tree and a Kuromatsu tree.
