Renkyō-ji Temple is a historic Jodo Shinshu temple with important cultural properties and beautiful trees.

- Jodo Shinshu Takada sect temple, mountain name Hounzan.
- Principal image is Amida Nyorai.
- Founded between 995 and 999 as Tendai sect temple.
- Converted to Jodo Shinshu in 1561.
