What it is

  • A Shingon-shu Chizan-ha Buddhist temple.
  • Founded by 1647, with Kanson as its earliest known chief priest.
  • Known as 'Itabi-dera' due to many itabi stone monuments.

  • The Ryufukuji Kencho 7-nen Itabi, a large 160cm stone monument.
  • This itabi is a tangible cultural property of Itabashi Ward.
