Ancient shrine with unique stones, moved from its original mountain location.
What it is
- A Shikinaisha, or shrine of significant historical standing.
- Dedicated to the deity Samatado Okami.
- Founded around the 600s.
- Originally located on Mt. Takayasu.
What to see
- Four 165kg 'Chikaraishi' stones on the south side.
- Earthenware sarcophagi were excavated nearby.
