Shaei-ji Temple

Shōei-ji is an ancient temple in Gifu with important statues and a battle monument.

- Shingon-Omuro sect temple.
- Founded in 942.
- Also known as Kidaji.
- Named after a flag with "Shōei-koku" written on it.
