Shojoji Temple is a historic Jodo Shinshu head temple with unique crests and important enshrined figures.
What it is
- Jodo Shinshu temple in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture.
- Head temple of the Shinshu Yamamotoha sect.
- Founded by Dosho in 1385.
- Became independent as Shinshu Yamamotoha in 1878.

- Amidado enshrines Amida Buddha, rebuilt in 1964.
