Shōjū-ji Temple
正宗寺
Shojuji is a historic Rinzai temple with notable statues and a rare censer.
What it is
- A Rinzai sect temple.
- Founded as Nakano-an during the Eikyo era.
- Renamed Shojuji in 1580.
- Rebuilt during the Kansei era after a fire.

- A Thirty-three Kannon statue from 1829.
- A bronze Kannon statue in front of the main hall.
