Tatsuki Shrine, a rebuilt Toshogu shrine, offers a glimpse into local history and culture.
What it is
- A Toshogu shrine, dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu.
- Located on the former site of Okazaki Castle.
- Renamed Tatsuki Shrine in 1876 and 1912.
- Became a prefectural shrine in 1915.
What to see
- The main hall, completed in 1954.
- The rebuilt shrine building from 1964.
When to go
- Annual festival is held on April 17th.
