Torisu Hakken-sha

What it is

• A Shinto shrine, Torisu Hakken-sha.
• Built on an ancient burial mound (kofun).
• The kofun is a rare scallop-shell type.

What to see

• The entire shrine grounds are a tumulus.
• The kofun is 60 meters long.
• The circular part is 45 meters in diameter.
• The mound is about 3.5 meters high.
• Haji pottery was found here.

• 5-minute walk from Tsurusato Station.
• Tsurusato Station is on the Sakuradori Line.
