Waguri Shrine is a historic shrine in Ichinomiya City, enshrining ancient deities and celebrating seasonal festivals.
What it is
- Formal name is Waguri Jinja Hachimangu.
- Founded to enshrine ancestor Amenoshitarihiko no Mikoto.
- Kanematsu Masayoshi formally enshrined Hachimangu in 1605.
- Enshrined deities are Amenoshitarihiko no Mikoto and Emperor Ojin.
