Yadoriki Shrine

What it is

• Formerly a Zen temple named Mirokuji.
• One of the temples visited for Hojo Masako's safe delivery.
• Eight shrines were merged into it in 1909.

What to see

• A large ginkgo tree on the shrine grounds.
• A giant cedar tree stands in front of the torii gate.
• The cedar tree is 30m tall, with a 6.4m trunk circumference.
• The cedar tree was selected for "Kanagawa's 100 Famous Trees".

When to go

• Annual festival on the first Saturday of March.
• Festival music is a town intangible cultural asset.
