湯泉神社
Yusen Shrine is an ancient Shikinaisha Grand Shrine with a rich history and notable deities.
What it is
- A Shikinaisha Grand Shrine, formerly ranked as Gosha.
- Dedicated to Onamuchi-no-mikoto and Sukunahikona-no-mikoto.
- Kumano-Kusumi-no-mikoto was added later, forming the Chingo Sanjin.
- Recorded in the Nihon Shoki and Engishiki Jinmyocho.
What to see
- A torii and stone steps at Onsen-ji Temple.
- The shrine is located on the middle of Mt. Atago.
