Takio Shrine

Takio Shrine is a historic Kyoto shrine with unique architecture and art, worth visiting for its cultural heritage.

- A shrine dedicated to Okuninushi-no-kami, Benzaiten, and Bishamonten.
- Existed since the late Heian period.
- Relocated by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 1586.
